Police are investigating a shooting that left two men injured in Huntsville Friday afternoon.
Huntsville Police say the shooting happened at 12:01 p.m. Friday on the 4500 block of Bonnell Drive. Officers say they arrived at the scene to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say shortly afterward, officers were told that a second man with a gunshot wound arrived at a hospital in Madison. That man is also being treated with non-life-threatening injuries.
Huntsville Police say investigators with their violent crimes unit are conducting an active investigation into the shooting. They believe the shooting is an isolated incident.
