BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Linebacker Dimitris Biamby and quarterback Cornelious Brown IV will represent Alabama A&M University at the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference annual SWAC Football Media Day at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16 at the Sheraton-Birmingham.
Alabama A&M head football coach Sam Shade, who begins his first season on The Hill, will join the rest of the SWAC head coaches to address the media about the upcoming 2025 football season.
Biamby played in all 12 games for the Maroon & White last season. He was fourth on the team in tackles, with 42, including 18 solo stops. The Coral Gables, Fla. native had 1.5 sacks and 3.0 tackles for loss. In addition, he posted three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.
Brown saw action in 11 games for the Bulldogs last season, sporting a 131.7 quarterback rating. He went 127 of 222 passing for 1,666 yards, along with 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Birmingham, Ala. native averaged 151.4 passing yards per game. In addition, on the ground, Brown rushed 49 times for 161 yards, with one touchdown, while averaging 3.3 yards per game.
Alabama A&M opens the 2025 season at Arkansas on Saturday, Aug. 30 inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Kickoff against the Razorbacks is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. and televised on the SEC Network. The Bulldogs will have its home opener one week later with the 15th Annual Louis Crews Classic as AAMU plays host to Alcorn State.
