America’s Amputee Softball Team, the , will return to Toyota Field on Saturday, September 13, for their annual game against AUSA Redstone-Huntsville just before the take the field.
This powerful event, organized by the Young Professionals of the , is more than just a game. It’s a celebration of service, sacrifice, and resilience.
The USA Patriots are composed entirely of current and former service members who have lost limbs in service to their country. Through softball, they continue to serve by inspiring others and showing what it means to overcome adversity with courage.
“Seeing the USA Patriots in action and knowing what they’ve overcome in their own lives, and then what they do to help kids overcome their own situations is really amazing," said AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter President, John Kuenzli, "It makes our opportunity to support them that much more special."
The game’s presenting sponsor is Phoenix – Huntsville Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc., a longtime advocate for inclusive opportunities and community rehabilitation.
"It’s great to have Phoenix as our presenting sponsor given their close alignment to supporting people in their recovery and rehab efforts," added Kuenzli, "They’re a great partner to AUSA here in the Tennessee Valley and we’re very grateful to have their support."
All proceeds from the event go directly to support the - a free, weeklong camp for children with limb differences, helping them build confidence, community, and a belief in their own potential.
