A Muscle Shoals man is accused of abusing a 2-year-old child, according to court documents.聽
Jail records show 35-year-old Ridge Watkins was booked into Colbert County Jail on a charge of aggravated child abuse Tuesday.
Court documents reveal the arrest was in response to an incident that took place on Jan. 28, in which Watkins was allegedly caught on video punching a 2-year-old, resulting in marks on their back, buttocks, and legs.聽
Documents further specify the abuse is believed to have taken place on multiple occasions throughout that day.
Watkins has no bond set at this time.聽
