A Madison County jury returned a guilty verdict for a man charged in a deadly shooting that happened in Toney back in 2022.
On Wednesday, a jury found Robert Shepherd, Jr., guilty in the murder of William Singleton. He was also found guilty on two counts of assault.
Deputies responded to Spirit Drive in 2022 to find one person dead and two others injured in the shooting.聽
Shepherd is currently being held without bond. His sentencing is set for March 6.
