Hartselle Kiwanis is set to host a heartfelt community memorial event, "," at J.P. Cain Stadium on Wednesday, September 10. The event, held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., invites residents to participate in a meaningful tribute to the memory of 9/11.

Attendees have the opportunity to engage in a Memorial Mile walk or a Memorial Stair Climb. Participants can choose to walk four laps around the track to complete a mile or climb the stadium stairs 80 times or any combination of the two, to honor the steps of the Twin Towers.

The event aims to commemorate those lost on 9/11 and recognize the sacrifices of first responders and service members. Organizers hope to educate children about the historical significance of the day, ensuring that the nation never forgets.
