On Thursday, Decatur city leaders approved more than $100,00 in additional funding for an external police review.
Councilman Billy Jackson confirmed to 社区黑料 News the vote on the resolution was four to one. According to Jackson, Councilman Hunter Pepper voted against the measure.
On Tuesday, the CEO of Green Research and Technology told the council that the review was taking his employees longer than anticipated.聽
The City of Decatur is currently paying out more than $300,000 to the company.
